Christmas party

On Sunday we had the whole Johnson family Christmas party and as tradition they put on a nativity scene while someone read the story. Well as the story is being read, Addie jumps out of my arms and books it to the baby Jesus! Notice how she pushes "Mary" to the side and wants at that baby. She sat right on her lap and kissed the baby a few times. I couldn't get pictures of that... she was too quick. But the show went on and we just had an extra little angel in the scene! :)

Completion!

Our basement is almost totally done!! Wahoo! Josh did all the framing and finish work (like the baseboards, doors, and shelving.) It has turned out so nice!! Now it will be awhile until we can put any furniture down there but at least its lots of extra play room for the kido! Josh made a place for Addie to play under the stairs. Usually it would just be a storage area but we already had plenty of space for that. She thinks she is so cool that she can peak through the window!
I love how Josh put in this little arched doorway for Addie. She loves this little "house" of her own! She gets so excited when we go down there and she laughs and runs as fast as she can to her favorite place and peeks threw the window. I put pillows and blankets and toys in there. Its our little reading cubby for now too!
This little kitchen is just at the bottom of the stairs. As you can see we still need appliances.

Putting the kid to work..

Addie loves "washing" things right now. She does it every chance she gets. It took a few times to get her on video in the act because as soon as she saw me with the camera she would stop and just stand there and smile! haha. So i finally caught her without being noticed. She cracks me up! Such a good little helper!

Excited for Christmas!

As you can see little Addie is happy about Christmas coming... or wait is she just happy like always!? I took lots of pictures with this new shirt I got her for the holiday. I think it's so cute on her.
So Addie is starting to say more words. They are- "where is it?" (she has said that one for a few months. -Nana (banana) -Shoes -Dad -Mom -cheese -yeah!
She also has different sounds she says for more, again, and thank you. I love being able to experience all the new things she does each day.

Exit Reality Christmas Party

Josh and the other owners of Exit had a Christmas party for the agents and their spouses. We had dinner and prize drawings and gave out awards. It turned out to be a great night. And at the end, the 3 owners brought out a big bouquet of flowers for each of the wives as a surprise! I was sure surprised! They said we all deserved it for being so patient and letting them be cranky, and stressed, and work a ton of hours! That was very nice of them. But then it made me feel guilty that I nag too much about work stuff. Josh has worked so, so hard and I am so proud of him for not giving up or getting down with the way the market is. He actually likes the extra challenge I think! :) I love you babe!

Me, Emily (a new agent to the office and she also lives right across the street from us) and the gorgeous Kimberly!

I like to let Addie play in her room alone for a bit everyday if she wants. Usually she "reads" her books or gets toys out of her toy box. But yesterday she found something new to keep her entertained. She took all the clothes out of her dresser and spread them around her room.
Then I go in a few minutes later and she has moved all the clothes into her bus and is just chillin' in the pile of softness! P.S. Look how much of her molars are in already! What a month full of teeth!
I love how her hair is all staticy from the blow up bus! haha

Puerto Rico!!

Our last destination was Puerto Rico! That is were we flew home from. We had an extra day there before our flight left so we saw this amazing old battle fort in San Juan. It was made in the 1500's and took 250 years to complete! It is huge! It was were they protected their land from the sea intruders. They even have the original cannons they used! The building had seven levels and the soliders lived there. They had living quarters and kitchen and a really amazing water and latrine system. I have no idea how they made something so big that long ago. It looked like a massive castle thing you see in the old battle movies. It had such beautiful views from all levels! And that is the end of our vacation!

My favorite beach that we went to on this trip! We found a secluded beach with hardly any tourists called Coki Beach.

The gorgeous Virgin Islands..

This place was oh so beautiful! Green jungle everywhere. On this day we did the Zip Line. Josh and I hadn't done it before and it was a blast! My favorite excursion! I felt like Indiana Jones because we were climbing through the trees on skinny, swaying rope bridges. and then you would zip line to another tree. then climb a ladder and walk across a skinny cable. It took about 2 hours and was so much fun! It was in a beautiful jungle and we were high in the tree tops looking down at everything. They wouldn't let us take backpacks or anything up with us. So I don't have any pictures of it. Just this before one. I would totally do it again.

We had a concert from Mickey, the head singer of the Monkee's. He is old but still has a really good voice. We ran into him right by our room and snagged a picture. I'm not a big fan of the Monkee's but I do know some of their songs. This picture is for the older folks. (aka mom) haha

I missed Addie so much while we were gone! It has been so fun to be hanging out with her again. This was her hair-do today after she pulled out the hair clip I had in. I didn't even try to make it that way.. it's all natural! She had her 15 mth check up today and she is doing wonderful. Weighing in at 25 lbs (80th percentile) and 31.5 inches for height (75th percentile). She is definaltly a growing bundle of joy!

Next stop... Caracus

Derek and Nicole, Jonny and Ashley, Josh and I. I'm the only one that didn't get the "wear your sunglasses" memo I guess..ha
Our ship is massive! I can't even comprehend what goes into designing and building one of these!
The fam.. and that's with 4 people up front that couldn't fit in the picure! That was one FULL bus!

We rented these buggys and rode all around the island. It was a lot of fun. When we drove by the natives walking down the streets they always got excited to see us and waved. This island is close to Aruba and looks pretty much the same. Pretty, but more dry then the next stop...

We took a tour bus around the island. It was a little rainy once we got to the beach. So we just headed back to the ship. Here we are climbing a huge rock formation and you can see a lot of the island from the top.
