Addison's Adventures

Oh I LOVE these pictures! So this weekend while I was out with some friends, Josh got the pleasure to watch Addie for the night. I guess he got distracted for a bit and let her roam free. Finally he goes to find her and this is what she did!! I'm SO glad he took pictures. I laughed so hard when I saw them. In the first picture she is still having a blast and in the second you can tell she is realizing... "oops I think daddy isn't too happy." Even though I'm sure he was laughing the whole time too! This picture is precious. Every little kid needs to get into the toliet paper once. You know she had a great time with it.. so GO ADDIE!

Addie has been doing such cute and interesting things lately! Everyday I am running to grab the camera. Lately she loves to wave her hand at the camera. She started doing it while we were in cali. She total poses and holds her hand there until I've taken the picture. Also she crawls everywhere. She must of found her binky and I spotted her hiding behind the garbage with a huge smile. The little sneaker! And next i got her any early birthday present. I couldn't wait. She needs her own little couch and oh how she loves it! She loves to climb all over it, stack her toys on it, and also to snuggle up and watch her shows. Then the last pic I thought was great. She is getting so big and she must be too cool to hold on when she is standing now. "Look mom... no hands!!" This sweet girl is my life! What a complete joy she is! Everyday is different and exciting. She keeps me busy and I love it so much. Everyday truely is a blessing! Love you baby!

Ah.. newborn babies!!

These are some of my good friends from the Dental Office I worked at before I had Addie. Sheri, Gretta, Whitney, and Alisha. We visited Whitney and her new baby tonight. This is Sadie Jane! She is just a few days old. Ah she is adorable. I love holding new babies. Crazy to think I was a new mom just a year ago!! It was great getting us girls back together. I miss you guys!

Libby!

Janessa, a best friend from High School, had this sweet baby girl last friday. While we were in Cali!! I am so sad I missed it. We didn't get back in time to visit them at the hospital. I was bummed but it was nice to visit with them at her house. We got good alone time in. Libby is an angel. I am in LOVE with all her hair! Addie and I are jealous! :) Congrats Mark and Janessa

We are back!

We just got back from San Diego! We were visiting Josh's brother and sisters who are working their for the summer. We took our first family road trip. It took about 11 hours total. It was long but Addie was great!! As long as Elmo movies were playing she didn't mind sitting in the car at all.

SeaWorld! We saw so many cool things!! But it would be too many pictures to post. But this was Addie's favorite part.... the Elmo Movie!! It was a really long day for her. She was so good while we all went on roller coaster and watched Shamu shows. So I was happy there was something for her!

I went with Ashley and Jessica to a concert on the beach. Josh Gracin from American Idol sang. (Also Phil Stacey from AI too) We had so much fun. We got crazy and danced all over. We are screamin in this pic cuz we were so close. He ran out into the crowd and we all got to touch him!! He is so famous!! haha we were excited! The sunset right before he came on was amazing!! AHHH... California!!

Yup that's right. We have already taken Addie across the border! Mexico!! We had fun shopping and got a lot of cheap stuff. It was pretty different bringing a baby for the first time. I never let my eyes leave her and I was checking out everyone that even looked at her. She had fun though.. so much to look at!

Time for the beach! Unfortunatly the water was really cold. Addie wasn't a fan. She didn't like the sand either. Of course she tired to eat it and hated how it stuck to her hands and feet. It was a gorgeous view though.
--We had a great time visiting with the family. Addie had a great first road trip!!

Big Girl Carseat

Its that time... Addie needs a new carseat. Here she is trying it out while watching Elmo. She climbs right in and will sit there until Elmo is over. She loves it! She was watching tv when I tried to make her look at me and smile. It took a lot of coxing and she was annoyed I was distracting her! I'm excited for her to be able to face forward in the car now, she will like that! Hopefully she will LET me put it in the car. All day she has been playing with it and climbing in it. She loves that its her own mini chair.. since she can't climb on the couch just yet. Guess the next thing to buy is her very own chair!

On the way to the game the girls were giggling the whole time! It was the cutest thing. Emma would fake sneeze and Addie would laugh her head off! Watch out-- when these girls have sleepovers... giggles all night long!

Family Night

Happy 4th of July!

She sure looks excited for her first Indepenence Day! Check out that grin~

To start off the day, we all were in a parade for Exit Reality. Addie and I walked along the street and handed out flags to the people that were watching. Addie just sat in the stroller and had fun watching all the people. Luckily it was overcast and didn't get really hot until it was over! Addie waved her flag proudly!

Later that night we went to the West Jordan Rodeo with Josh's family. Addie was a champ the whole time. It was hot and she hadn't taken a nap. But she still put on a good face the whole time. I really don't know how she can be so good all the time, its unreal! They would play loud music while the horses where showing off their skills and Addie would sit on your knee and bounce herself to the music. She kicked her legs and moved her arms. It was so funny. They would stop the music and she would stop dancing. Then she'd start back up when the did. She was fun to watch.

By the end of the night she was completly worn out. She cuddled right up with Grandpa Johnson and fell asleep.

New Adventures

Addie has been throwing toys under her exer-saucer for awhile now then cries because she can't reach them. So tonight I just watched her throw her toys again but this time she went after them! She started crawling inside the exer-saucer! Slowly but surely she made it all by herself!! I ran to get the camera and came back and she found a place for her head so she could sit up in her new fort! She was so happy she did it totally by herself. What an accomplishment Addie!! She is getting so daring these days. What will she try next?
