So I did it.. I buckled down and got Lasix Eye Surgery yesterday. I have been wanting to do it for years. I figured I might as well do it now, so I have more years to enjoy it. Here I am stylin my eye protectors that I have to wear at night so I don't accidently rub my eyes. And the other pic is one of the big red spots on my eyes. Pretty sick huh. My poor eyes went through so much.
Lasix was an interesting and scary thing. I hated having my eye ball practically pulled out of the socket and burned. (thats what it felt like). It was really painful for a few hours after and that was it. Not bad for having surgery! Today I feel GREAT!! I can see 20/20 and don't even feel like anything was done. They aren't dry, sore, blurry.. nothin. I love it now and its so great to be able to see all the time! I just have to be really careful not to rub them for a few more days. I know its all gonna be worth it!

I am SO SO jealous! I want to have that done! you'll have to tell me all about it sometime. maybe one day i'll be lucky enough! :)
Congratulations. That's cool. Now you don't have broken eyes like your sister.
I don't know...I'm still a little too freaked out. Especially after reading the "Pulling my eyes out of their sockets and burning them..." part! AHH!!!
Okay I totally just screamed at that picture of the eye splotches. And Jeremy sucks!! He's so mean. He says my eyes are broken. Well he is deaf, so his EARS are broken.
I'm so glad everything went well! That is awesome that you have perfect vision now...I would love to have it done someday:)
Rach you're so brave. I've thought about it but I'm so scared!!! I'm glad things went well. How cool would that be to wake up and see without contacts, glasses, etc. Love it.
Yay how exciting! You are way braver than I am, I would never be able to do it. So yes, we are expecting! I am 16 weeks, so in about a month I will be half-way through and we will be able to find out if it is a boy or a girl. We kept it kinda secret for a while because we wanted to be sure this time, but we are very, very excited :)
