Mess

This is what kept Addie busy for 20 seconds! And it kept me busy cleaning it up for 15 min! She threw the glass bottle of nail polish on the tile and it broke. Then she took the paint brush and "painted" all over the floor, the tub, and her hands and feet! What a stinky mess! It even stained the grout in the tile! I just have to laugh at her face. She is sad because she keeps trying to get the nail polish off her hands and she can't!

Dress up

Here is Addie and Emma playin together. Emma's mommy was nice enough to babysit Add for a bit. And as you can see they had a great time! They are all girl and I love it!

Surgery

Well Addie had tubes put in her ears early this morning. (6:30am appt early!) She was so good going into it and didn't cry at all when the doctor took her from us to the operating room. We only had to wait for 10 min for them to be done. It was great that it was so fast. They put her to sleep with just a gas mask which was great.
So this picture is right when we got in the room as she was starting to wake up. I took her out of the crib and she was so out of it. It was kinda funny cuz her neck was limp and she had no muscle. But then she got really mad when she was awake! She cried for at least 30 min until the medication started working. She was confused, in pain, tired,hungry, and everything was louder for her now that she had tubes. Poor girl. She was inconsolable, which is really weird for her. That made us really sad.

But then some time passed and they took the monitors off her. Man she hated those. Then Daddy came to the rescue and she curled up and started to relax. She was all stuffy and worked up. But you can tell she really loves her Daddy! I think this pic is so sweet of them together.
Then we came home and they let her have breakfast and she took a nap in my bed (which she loves) for 2 1/2 hours. She woke up feeling great! She has been so good and smiley today. I'm glad its over and she won't be in pain anymore!

Enjoying Fall

Check it out! Actual curls! Oh I am loving so much having some hair of Addie's to play with! I put a little gel in cuz she regularly has like 2 curls. But after the gel in the back, it all curled up. So freakin cute. As I was looking at her in the bathroom mirror I about started crying cuz she was being so cute and I am so in love with the sweet little curls. She is growing way too fast. I can't believe how much I LOVE and ADORE her. I never knew my heart could hold so much love! Being her mommy is the most wonderful thing in this world!!

What a sweet group of kids!

A few girlfriends and I got our kids together and went to lunch the other day. We get our kids together every once and awhile and its so fun to watch them interact. They are a riot! Ages range from 3 to 1 year old. Most of the time they get along great. We have such cute kids!! I love these kinds of pictures cuz we can show it to them when they are older and say "Ah look how long you guys have been playing together."

Tidbits on Miss Addison

- She gets excited when its time to brush her teeth at night, no matter how tired she is. (hope that one lasts!)
- She hates to have blankets on her. She kicks them right off even if she is already asleep.
- She thinks sunglasses are the new greatest toy ever!
- Hates when I walk to another room faster then she does. She hates to be left behind. So I have to take her hand and walk BESIDE her all around the house.
- She will go into my closet and pull out a pair of my shoes and carry them around the house. I find them in such strange places sometimes. I think it's so funny that out of all the choices... she always goes for the same ones everytime!

"Mommy, I didn't have any chocolate. I promise." ;)

Can you say best friends?

Our friends the Taylor's came over last night and our girls were going crazy. It was so their bedtime(that's why they are in p.j's) and they got hyper all of a sudden. They are always so cute around each other. Addie follows poor Emma were ever she goes.. she probably gets so annoyed but she is a good sport. Don't ya love how they are sportin their Elmo sippys too? It is so fun to watch how the girls interact with eachother. I'm so glad Addie has a friend to play with. She learns a lot from Emma. Party on girls!

Kisses for all

K I just have to post about something Addie did just 2 min. ago.
She was holding her baby and it fell on the floor. I said, "oops you better get your baby". Then she picked it up and gave her a sweet, little, closed lips kiss right on her face!! She has NEVER done that before! I just couldn't stand how cute it was. I guess she figures that's what ya do, since she gets kissed all day long!

Hey pretty blue eyes!

So Addie has to get tubes put in her ears in 2 weeks! :( She just had her fourth ear infection in the last three months. So I took her to the ENT today and he said its time for tubes. After talking to him about it I feel much better. It won't be a big deal at all. She will breath in a mask that will put her right to sleep and it only takes about 15 min for the procedure. And she is always so good with everything, I know she'll do great. I just want her to finally have some relief from all the ear aches! She has been a little trooper so far!

Dare Devil

Addie has been going nuts with her little rocking bike she got for her birthday. She climbs on so fast and rocks as hard and she can. And lately she tries to do tricks on it! She will put both feet on the middle bar and try to stand up... try to stand with one foot on the seat.. and stand with feet on the peddels and she will crouch down and stick out her butt and go up and down. It is hilarious! I have to really supervize her on that thing now. I can't believe she tried stunts like that already!

Fascination!

Addie has loved playing with the faucet in our bathroom for months now! She will play for a long time too. This is just a short clip of the fun she has. Lately she gets her hands wet then rubs them on the floor and gets them wet again.. over and over. Man I think she's really into this cleaning thing! :)

Road Trip II

We just got back from visiting with my Dad's family in Mesa, Arizona. It was my cousin Shelly's Wedding! It was so great to have most of the family together again. She was such a happy, sweet bride. I'm so glad I got to be there for it. Josh, Addie and I went and we also took my little sister along. It was so hot there though.. Wedding day was 102!! Man and I thought my wedding day was hot! Here are all the girl cousins back together again. (all the ones that could make it) We are just missing 3- Janell, Courtney, and Candice! We missed you girls!!
