Visitors

I am back to blogging... wow that was along break. I have been SO sick the last 7 weeks. It has been hard. But I am starting to get a little relief now. And just in time. Cuz my big sister flew in from Virgina! And also her hubby Jeremy and my nephew Parker. Luckily I could keep the barfing to a minimum while they were here. We have missed them. Addie had so so much being all hyper and playing with them everyday. I wish I would of taken more pictures, but I wasn't really feeling up to it. :(

The grandkids
haha.. welcome to my family.

Playing doctor was funny. Janell was a bit nervous for what
Dr. Addie would do next.

A Stunning Discovery!

Oh my heck! I have the BEST announcement! I AM PREGNANT!!! I was so shocked! We did it without any fertiliy meds or IVF! I got pregnant about 2 months after our last IVF cycle and right after we were accepted to the adoption agency. Ha so ironic I know. (we are keeping our papers in... who know's right? Bring on the babies!)
So I was a few days late, and just decided to use one of my extra pregancy tests. I have taken lots this year and each time have been SO hopeful! But was always disappointed. This time I wasn't hopeful.. I was just curious why I was late. I totally thought it would be negative like all the rest. I wait the few min then check back on the test.
A DOUBLE LINE!! I was freaking out!
I sat on the floor and cried and laughed and cried! I couldn't stop staring at the test! Could it really be true? I was pregnant? I was in shock. I just did not believe it. I was scared to get excited about it. So I went and got a blood test the next day and they confirmed it! AWWWW!
I am so so blessed! Another miracle child for us! We are beyond grateful. I am so happy to be pregnant! I thought it was out of the cards for me and I was fine with adopting. I just wanted our family to grow. And now here I get the chance to be pregnant and take care of this child from the first day! I feel so lucky to be able to take my prenatals and eat healthy and take care of my body and my baby. With adoption I would not be able to have control over any of that. So another blessing that I am so grateful for.
I have been feeling very sick for over a week so far, off and on. But it's a good sick, right? It is so so worth it and I am so thrilled to be a mommy again!

Addie is so, so excited to be a BIG SISTER! She knows just what this shirt means and couldn't be happier. It surprises me how well she understands whats going on. She talks about the baby growing in my tummy everyday. She is waiting patiently for the baby to grow bigger and bigger.  She already picked out a name for it. Roses. aw isn't that cute? She will be the best sister ever to this little angel in my tummy!

I just went to doctor today and got to see the miracle peanut. Here it is, 7 1/2 weeks along. Strong heartbeat and everything looks fantastic!

When the white stuff turns out to be fun..

We got pounded with snow over the last few days and it's still coming. The snow fall took a quick break so we headed out for some sledding..
 Josh's two favorite things....
Addie and Emma had a great time in the snow.
IT WAS SO COLD THOUGH.
haha from the look on her face you'd think it was a big hill. We have an open field retention pond right by our house. It was an excellent sledding spot.. and when we got
frozen we walked home to warm up.

I am loving my new camera! I LOVE the close up's it does!
Our neighbors thought of the sweet idea to pull the
kidos behind the four wheelers.
They let Addie take some wild rides. ha she loved it!
Looked like lots of fun!
Thanks Johns! You sure know how to step up sledding!
 The frozen little princesses..
aww. cute.

Christmas preperations..

The girls making cookies for Santa.
The girls had their gift exchange the other day. Emma got Addie these cute little Best Friends necklaces! It says: Sisters At Heart. SOO true!! The girls love them and wear them everyday. Addie even wakes me up in the morning, bringing in the necklace so I can hurry and put it on her.haha. And Emma gave her the sweetest little musical ballerina jewelry box! I was so excited! I haven't seen one since I was kid. I still remember the Christmas when me and my big sis got them and how thrilled we were. Now the girls have matching boxes too. Such sweet and thoughtful gifts.
We love you Kim and Emma!
What a lucky girl I am! Look at these cuties on the
sunday before Christmas!

The Night Before Christmas

This is Gramps Johnson with his 2 Great Granddaughters. Lily is almost 4 months, isn't she the sweetest little thing!!? My little Addie is quite the doll too I must add. These girls just melt Gramp's heart.

Christmas morning

These pictures came up out of order. But after we opened gifts as a family we went over to my parents and opened gifts all together. Addie got this super cute tent from Grandma and Grandpa.
I was SO sick Christmas Eve and Day. Ugh. I had the worst cold. My nose was out of control, my voice was squeaky, and I was coughing up a storm. This is the only pic of me that looked decent. I was so exhausted. I didn't take very many pictures because of sickness, now I'm sad looking back.
This super cute My Little Pony book came all the way from Virginia! It has tiny little ponys to play with too. Thanks guys!
Addie LOVED Christmas this year! She got to divy out all the gifts. She crawled under the tree and read who the gifts were for and handed them to Josh and I. She was so much more into it this year and ripping her gifts open. I loved watching her. It was precious.
This year Addie asked Santa for a computer... haha. But what do ya know... that's just what she got! :) And she got these new cute, snuggly pjs from Nana Johnson.
Look at the smile on this face! Its so funny how much excitement comes from princess magnets that only cost $1.00
"Hooray!! Santa liked the cookies I made! Look mommy! He ate them all up!"

Tender.

My sweet Grandpa flew in from Arizona last weekend to ordain my dad a High Priest. It was such a special thing to have them here. Grandpa's health has been really bad for awhile and he just had his third major knee surgery. You wouldn't know it from these pictures but he is in A LOT of pain constantly and I'm sure it took all he had to get dressed up all fancy and perfom the blessing. But he said he would not have missed the oppurtunity to give that blessing himself! We are so blessed to have such amazing men in our lives. I look up to these men SO much!
Haha, classic Grandpa face!! I love him so much!
Grandma with the great granddaughters. At least we got one of them to pose... Go Addie :)

Twinkle Toes.......

Addie's First Ballet Recital was this weekend. She was the most beautiful ballerina I have ever seen! She was so excited to go on a "big stage". I thought she would be nervous looking out at all the people. But it didnt even faze her. She didnt miss a step and smiled the whole time. She looked so grown up on stage! I got all teary eyed, she did so wonderful! I'm so proud of her and for being so brave when trying something new! Look how good she is on her toes already! (above)

She was so excited to be able to get in her costume all day. Here she is posing after FINALLY getting dolled up.

Of course here's Addie with her BFF Emma. She was the leader of the group and showed all the younger girls what to do. She was a perfect example. Addie wouldn't of done so well without Emma. Thanks girls, you put on a great show!
