Formal Night

Grand Turk. We rented mopeds and toured the whole island is less than an hour..., its that small. We got to see a lot of cool things and had fun. This is some of us gals chillin at the beach. Misty, me, Kim, and Amber.

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas. Man this place was beautiful. Such crystal clear water. This was a chill island. I mostly layed out and relaxed. Josh played volleyball and snorkled.

This is a huge world famous resort in the Bahamas called Atlantis. It was so beautiful. It has a huge aquarium with sharks ect. And there is a huge water park with slides and tubes and stuff. We had a fun day here!! This is Jake and Kim Taylor and us. They were some friends that went with us.

This is a small clip of Addie trying to talk. She just says "ya ya ya" all the time. Sorry its so short but she was all talked out after our phone converstation sis.

Addie says " I Love U this much!"

She loves to sit on the floor and play with her basket of toys. It's keep her enterained for quite awhile. As you can see, she is very happy. She is finally getting interested in crawling. She tries really hard but isn't there yet. I'm sure it's not too far off. Then we will have a mobile baby.. oh no! :)

First trip to the park!

Ah Addie finally gets her first chance at the park! We were so happy the weather was great on Tuesday and I had just gotten over a horrible 3 day flu. We were ready to get out of the house. So to celebrate I put Addie in the stroller and off we went. We have a great new park in our neighborhood that we walked to. I figured we would just sit in the grass but it had the little baby swings. I was excited. I thought Addie might be too little but as you can see she loved it! I sat on the ground under her and would throw my head back when she would swing into me, she laughed her head off. We had a fun time. We are going to go there a lot more now. We only played for about an hour total since it was her first real time out in the sun too. She actually got a little tan line from were her ribbon was. :)

Almost 8 months now....

I love this picture of Addie... she just woke up from a long nap. You can still see the sleepiness in her face... ah so cute!! Addie is getting so smart and learning so many things.
* Now when I am changing her clothes and she has a toy in hand, she will switch it to the other hand so I can take her arms out the sleeves! I was so surprised when she first did it. And she keeps doing it. I love how she learns things all on her own!!
*Also she can roll a ball back and forth with you. She actually thinks it really funny when she looks down and its back in her lap. She likes it when you play it like "hot potato" and pass really fast.
*She also does a funny thing when she is trying to go to sleep. I'll be holding her close as she is drifting asleep and I'll hold her hand. Well she wont have it that way. She pulls her hand away from mine and then puts it right back on my hand!! haha she has to be the one holding MY hand. She will do it over and over if I try to grab her hand. I don't know where she learns these things. But I don't mind that SHE would rather hold MOMMY'S hand.
*She can wave ByeBye now... but she will wave her whole arm and just flap it around like a wet noodle... its pretty funny and totally adorable.
Everyday she does new and funny things. It is such a blast to watch her grow and expand her learning. I'm the luckiest mommy in the world. :)

Here come the toes

So Addie has found her toes now! She has played withher feet for a long time but just now she has started chewing on her toes. It's so cute to watch. I can't believe how flexable she is! It's like she goes right back to fetal position.

"Yes.. contact!"

"What mom? I'm just chewin these toes right off!"

I was washing lunch off of Addie's face in the bathroom and she slid right into the sink. She thought it was funny and so did I. She loved sittin there and me not holding her down so she wouldn't fall. She felt pretty special having her own little seat!

First day lounging in the sun!

Ah it was finally warm enough to hang out outside for more then a few min. So we just went in the back yard and played. Addie loved it. She loves being barefoot too. She kept looking around and laughing. And of course she needed her sun hat on... it was pretty windy. She was such a little model for me. I love the one where we she is looking off.... I didn't even tell her to pose. haha. Bring on the summer!!
