Another First

Well this week my little one started Preschool! I keep calling her "my baby" and "little one", but looking at these pics I don't think that really fits her anymore. And that makes me so sad. When did this growing up thing happen?

Addie was so excited for her First Day of School. She loved posing for pictures but wanted to get on our way to school. Before you walk into the classroom, the teacher has the kids line up. I was telling Addie it was time to get in line with the kids and go to class. I thought she might be a little apprehensive but she just turned and started walking away. I said, " Can I get a kiss goodbye?" then she says, " Oh ya Mommy! I forgot." and ran back for a big kiss! Then she went to the line and butt all the kids and went right to the front of the line. haha. I just laughed. She was so excited and I did tell her to get in line. haha We'll have to work on her going to the END of the line next time. :)
Her school is really close so we have been walking to school or riding bikes. I hope the weather stays nice for awhile longer, we really enjoy this. She only goes 2 days a week this year. And we are both loving it. I love to hear her tell me all about what she learned in school, the songs they sang, and she also tells me if kids had to go in time out. haha She opens her backpack with excitement and shows me all the papers she worked on in class. We are loving preschool!!


The second day of school was Picture Day. This little curly sue was all ready with smiles on! :)
