seeing double
The other night we got to watch Emma until late. The girls got to play for hours and we had so much fun. We played outside, played princess, and painted our nails all pretty! Then it was time to get the girls ready for bed and to our surprise, Emma had the same jammies as Addie! The girls were so excited. They were happy to pose for lots of "twins" pictures! Love these girls!Sunday, May 9, 2010
Oh happy day!

This little ray of sunshine has brought so much love into my life. Being a mommy to little Miss Addison as been so wonderful. She is a true sweetheart and my dear friend. Also as the time goes by I appreciate and love my own mother SO much more! I can start to comprehend her love for me as my love for my daughter grows. I love being a mommy and getting to laugh with Addie when she says silly things. I love when I get to kiss her good night and as I walk out of the room I hear, " Good night mommy. I love you too!" Addie brings me joy in my life I never could have imagined. She is such a happy and beautiful spirit in our home. On Mother's Day I am reminded of all the love my mom has given me all these years. She is so special to me! She has taught me how to be a great mother by her example. And today (and always) I think of how lucky I am to be a mother. I am VERY grateful for the countless blessings in my life. Happy Mother's Day to all you dear mothers out there.

Feel like a serenade anyone?
Addie singing her favorite song.. but by the start of it you'd think she hated the song. ha ha. She put her own little dark twist on it. She had just sang/played the song right before this, then I went to grab the camera and told her to do it again. Can you tell she was a little annoyed to have to do it AGAIN! :) Love you funny girl!

Easter Fun
We started off our weekend with Addie's first time dying eggs. It was cute how excited she was to watch the eggs change colors and when I was peeling the shell off an egg she was bewildered! She had only seen me crack a raw egg.
ha.. silly girl. We had lots of fun!
Then we went to St. George for easter weekend and spent it with Josh's entire family. It was so great to have all the cousins, ect together. Here we are after the family egg hunt. Even the adults got to play. Granny and Gramps put it on every year. We have to find the one egg with our name on it. And we get money!! :) Its a great tradition. Saturday, April 10, 2010
Addie: 2 1/2 yrs old.
My friend/neighbor Amelia took these beautiful pictures of my little princess! She says she only does it as a hobby and she's not professional. I say YEAH RIGHT!! These are far better then "professional" ones I have done before. I am so excited to now have such good quality, candid pics of Addison. Thanks again Amelia! You are wonderful!Monday, April 5, 2010
Taking after mommy..
I recently signed up to be a Mary Kay consultant and I got my starter kit with samples in the mail the other day. I opened the box and went to another room for a bit. I came back and found Addie just like this! On her own she had opened and set up the mirror set and pulled out little makeup applicators. She was licking the eye shadow sponges and putting it on like lipstick and eye shadow. She even knew what to do with the mascara brush. She was cracking me up and kept asking what was so funny. She loves to play with all this stuff still. I gave her her own little "makeup" bag. I'm glad that pretend makeup still suffices. Its the "real" messy kind that worries me. Here's to hoping she enjoys the pretend makeup for a long time. :)
