Addie: 2 1/2 yrs old.
My friend/neighbor Amelia took these beautiful pictures of my little princess! She says she only does it as a hobby and she's not professional. I say YEAH RIGHT!! These are far better then "professional" ones I have done before. I am so excited to now have such good quality, candid pics of Addison. Thanks again Amelia! You are wonderful!Monday, April 5, 2010
Taking after mommy..
I recently signed up to be a Mary Kay consultant and I got my starter kit with samples in the mail the other day. I opened the box and went to another room for a bit. I came back and found Addie just like this! On her own she had opened and set up the mirror set and pulled out little makeup applicators. She was licking the eye shadow sponges and putting it on like lipstick and eye shadow. She even knew what to do with the mascara brush. She was cracking me up and kept asking what was so funny. She loves to play with all this stuff still. I gave her her own little "makeup" bag. I'm glad that pretend makeup still suffices. Its the "real" messy kind that worries me. Here's to hoping she enjoys the pretend makeup for a long time. :) Tuesday, March 16, 2010

It's time for a big girl bed...

Addie has her "new" bed now. I just converted her crib into a toddler bed and she loves it! I told her to sit on her bed for a picture and she totally posed like this on her own. haha. What a silly girl. I love having her bed this way too. She is such a good girl and actually says in her bed during naps and bedtime. I was really worried about it being a disaster. It's so much easier giving her hugs and kisses at night now too without the crib in the way. She is growing up way too fast!

Mexico Cruise
Last week Josh and I went on a Mexican cruise with 12 other couples. Our first stop was Puerto Vallarta were we went on a zip line threw the jungle. It was so cool and so pretty to drive deeper and deeper into the jungle. Next place we stopped was Mazatlan. Here we went horseback riding on the beach, which was really funny. All of our horses were doing their own thing and we couldn't control them. They keep trotting and it was hurting our butts. We all just laughed as we went for the crazy ride! Then we went to Cabo San Lucas. Josh went snorkeling and saw cool stuff he says. But it was too windy to get in the water for me. This cruise was quite different then other ones because it was very windy the whole time and was chilly for most of it. I only got about 3 hours of laying out in the sun total for the week! And that is my favorite part of cruises! But we still had a great time with our friends and laughed a lot. We missed little Addie though. But she was home having a great time with Nana and Grandma! Thanks again ladies! You are the best! (I put up a LOT more pics on facebook so check those out too)Sunday, February 14, 2010

Aquarium
Last weekend, Josh and I took Addie to the aquarium for the first time. She really liked it! It was cute how they have little places for the kids to stand so they can get close to the glass. It was so interesting to watch all the animals and fish moving around. Add stared for a long time at each spot. This octopus was really cool. Addie says it "ocopus". She was really excited to see the "real" Nemo! What a great winter activity.
